API Endpoint

POSThttps://api.segmind.com/v1/flux-3-image-to-video

Parameters

keyframesrequired
string[]

1-10 images. One image animates it; two act as first/last frame; more interpolate through each in order. The API also accepts [[seconds, image], ...] to pin timing.

promptrequired
string

Describe the motion, camera work and sound to build around the keyframes.

Default: "Bring the scene to life: a gentle camera push-in as ambient sound rises."
aspect_ratiooptional
string

Frame shape; auto lets the model choose. 16:9 cinematic, 9:16 social verticals.

Default: "auto"
Allowed values :
"auto""21:9""2:1""16:9""4:3""1:1""3:4""9:16"
draftoptional
boolean

Fast preview at about a third of the cost (renders at hd). The response's X-Draft-Cache-Url header feeds flux-3-draft-enhance to re-render this exact shot at full quality.

Default: false
durationoptional
integer

Video length in seconds, 5-20, billed per second of output. The API also accepts "auto" to let the model pick the length.

Default: 5Range: 5 - 20
generate_audiooptional
boolean

Native synchronized audio: dialogue, lip-sync and sound design. Off for a silent clip.

Default: true
resolutionoptional
string

hd or fhd. fhd costs more per second; drafts always render at hd.

Default: "hd"
Allowed values :
HD"hd"
Full HD"fhd"

Response Type

Returns: Video

Asynchronous requests (v2)

Use Async for video, long-running (>~60s), or high-concurrency workloads; Sync is simplest for fast image & LLM calls. Async submits a request and you poll it to completion.

  1. 1
    POST /v2/flux-3-image-to-video

    Submitreturns request_id, status_url, response_url

  2. 2
    GET /v2/requests/{id}/status

    Polluntil COMPLETED or FAILED

  3. 3
    GET /v2/requests/{id}

Status states

QUEUEDAccepted, waiting for a worker
PROCESSINGRunning on a worker
COMPLETEDDone — result body is ready
FAILEDErrored (incl. content/RAI blocks)
  • A FAILED request is served as HTTP 422 — the body still carries the error detail.
  • An unknown or expired request_id returns HTTP 404.
  • Results are retained for 1 hour, then expire.
  • Content / RAI blocks surface as FAILED, not a separate state.
  • Track completion by polling the status endpoint.
