FLUX 3 Text to Video Serverless API
Cinematic text-to-video with native lip-synced audio, up to 20s.

promptrequiredstringDescribe scene, subject, camera move, dialogue and sound design. Multilingual dialogue with lip-sync is supported.
"A red fox running through morning mist in a pine forest at dawn, cinematic tracking shot, soft golden light, birdsong and rustling leaves."aspect_ratiooptionalstringFrame shape; auto lets the model choose. 16:9 cinematic, 9:16 social verticals.
"auto""auto""21:9""2:1""16:9""4:3""1:1""3:4""9:16"draftoptionalbooleanFast preview at about a third of the cost (renders at hd). The response's X-Draft-Cache-Url header feeds flux-3-draft-enhance to re-render this exact shot at full quality.
falsedurationoptionalintegerVideo length in seconds, 5-20, billed per second of output. The API also accepts "auto" to let the model pick the length.
5Range: 5 - 20generate_audiooptionalbooleanNative synchronized audio: dialogue, lip-sync and sound design. Off for a silent clip.

Asynchronous requests (v2)
Use Async for video, long-running (>~60s), or high-concurrency workloads; Sync is simplest for fast image & LLM calls. Async submits a request and you poll it to completion.
- 1
POST /v2/flux-3-text-to-videoSubmit — returns request_id, status_url, response_url
- 2
GET /v2/requests/{id}/statusPoll — until COMPLETED or FAILED
- 3
GET /v2/requests/{id}Result — final response body
Status states
- A FAILED request is served as HTTP 422 — the body still carries the error detail.
- An unknown or expired request_id returns HTTP 404.
- Results are retained for 1 hour, then expire.
- Content / RAI blocks surface as FAILED, not a separate state.
- Track completion by polling the status endpoint.
Common Error Codes
The API returns standard HTTP status codes. Detailed error messages are provided in the response body.
