The ElevenLabs French TTS API is a serverless, single-node workflow that converts French text into natural-sounding speech audio using ElevenLabs Text To Speech with the eleven_v3 model. How It Works

The workflow is built with three connected nodes:

    Text Input - Accepts a French text string from the API caller. The input is exposed as a text parameter, making API calls clean and predictable.

    ElevenLabs Text To Speech - Processes the text through ElevenLabs' eleven_v3 model with the language_code locked to fr. This ensures correct French phonetics and intonation for any text provided. The default voice is Rachel, a natural-sounding female voice.

    Audio Output - Returns the generated audio as an MP3 file. The output is exposed as an audio parameter in the API response.

Customization Guide

You can adjust the following parameters to tailor the voice output:

  • •Voice: Switch between available ElevenLabs voices using the Voice dropdown. Choose a voice that matches your brand tone, whether professional, conversational, or warm.
  • •Voice ID: Provide a custom Voice ID to use a cloned or trained voice from your ElevenLabs account.
  • •Stability (0 to 1): Controls voice consistency. Higher values produce more predictable output; lower values introduce natural variation.
  • •Similarity Boost (0 to 1): Controls how closely the output matches the original voice character.
  • •Speed (0.25 to 4): Adjusts speech pace. Default is 1.0 for natural conversational speed.
  • •Style (0 to 1): Adds emotional expressiveness to the voice output.
