Kling 3.0 Pro Motion Control API
Transfer reference-video motion onto any character in 1080p.

https://api.segmind.com/v1/kling-3-motion-control-proParameters
image_urlrequiredstring (uri)The character image to animate. JPG or PNG up to 10 MB, aspect ratio between 1:2.5 and 2.5:1; a clear, well-lit full-body shot works best.
video_urlrequiredstring (uri)The reference video whose motion the character follows. MP4 or MOV up to 100 MB, 3 to 30 seconds (10 seconds when character_orientation is image). The output runs this clip's length and is billed per second of it.
character_orientationoptionalstringWhose facing direction the output keeps: 'video' follows the reference video (clips up to 30 s), 'image' keeps the image's pose (clips up to 10 s).
"video""video""image"keep_original_soundoptionalbooleanKeep the reference video's audio track on the output.
truepromptoptionalstringOptional scene description: add elements to the scene or describe camera movement. The motion itself comes from the video.
Response Type
Returns: Video
Asynchronous requests (v2)
Use Async for video, long-running (>~60s), or high-concurrency workloads; Sync is simplest for fast image & LLM calls. Async submits a request and you poll it to completion.
- 1
POST /v2/kling-3-motion-control-proSubmit — returns request_id, status_url, response_url
- 2
GET /v2/requests/{id}/statusPoll — until COMPLETED or FAILED
- 3
GET /v2/requests/{id}Result — final response body
Status states
- A FAILED request is served as HTTP 422 — the body still carries the error detail.
- An unknown or expired request_id returns HTTP 404.
- Results are retained for 1 hour, then expire.
- Content / RAI blocks surface as FAILED, not a separate state.
- Track completion by polling the status endpoint.
Common Error Codes
The API returns standard HTTP status codes. Detailed error messages are provided in the response body.
