How to Use Krea 3 Text to Image
Krea 3 Text to Image turns a written prompt into a finished 1K or 2K image in seconds. Getting a strong result is mostly about writing a concrete prompt and matching two settings — resolution and thinking mode — to the job.
Writing the prompt
Lead with the subject and one clear action, then name the materials, era, or style you want. Concrete nouns beat stacked adjectives, and Krea 3 rewards detail: the more precisely you describe a crowded or multi-element scene, the more of it the model places correctly. Skip filler like "ultra-detailed" or "8k" — resolution is a separate setting. If you need words or numbers in the frame, write them in quotes so the model knows what to render.
Choosing resolution
Use 1k (about 1 MP) for fast, cheap iteration while you explore directions. Switch to 2k (about 4 MP) for final deliverables and for anything with small text, fine texture, or a lot of interacting detail, where the extra definition is visible.
Choosing thinking mode
Leave thinking_mode on fast for simple, single-subject prompts. Turn it to high when a prompt stacks several subjects, materials, or layout rules at once — high reasons about the prompt before rendering, which is what keeps a busy scene coherent.
Framing and seed
aspect_ratio defaults to auto, letting the model frame the shot; set a fixed ratio (for example 3:2 or 16:9) when you have a known canvas. Leave seed empty for variety — reusing a seed does not guarantee an identical image, because the prompt-expansion step varies between runs.
Recommended Settings
- •Showcase / complex scenes (tested):
resolution: 2k, thinking_mode: high, aspect_ratio: 3:2. In testing this produced a clean native-2K frame of a dense, multi-figure sports scene with correct bodies and legible in-image numbers.
- •Fast iteration:
resolution: 1k, thinking_mode: fast, aspect_ratio: auto.
- •Text or fine detail:
resolution: 2k, thinking_mode: high.
Examples to try
Each example below ran end to end at the resolution, aspect ratio, and thinking mode shown on its card; click one to load that prompt and those exact settings into the form.
- •High thinking on a crowded scene. Prompt: "Roller derby jam on a banked wooden track: a jammer in a star-marked helmet cover bursts through a wall of three blockers, one blocker sliding on a knee pad. Roster numbers printed large on their arms and mesh tank jerseys read '07', '22', and '14'. Motion blur streaks off the spinning wheels while the skaters' bodies stay sharp; sweat, scuffed floor tape, taped-up pads. Direct on-camera flash, dark packed crowd behind, 35mm documentary sports photograph." At
2k with thinking_mode: high, several interacting skaters and their roster numbers all land in one frame. Keep high when a prompt stacks figures, motion, and text at once.
- •An art-directed medium that holds. Prompt: "Ukiyo-e woodblock print of a kabuki actor frozen in a mie pose, one arm thrust out, the sleeves of a crane-patterned kimono flaring; carved black outline, flat layers of indigo and vermilion ink, visible paper grain and a slight registration offset, a paper lantern at each edge." The output stays a real woodblock print — flat ink, carved lines, paper grain — not a glossy photo. Name the medium and its materials explicitly.
- •A precise materials brief. Prompt: "Mid-century modern living room photographed straight on: a burnt-orange wool sofa, a teak credenza with a record spinning on its turntable, a round travertine coffee table, an olive shag rug, a brass arc lamp curving overhead, and a white paper lantern lit in the corner; north-window daylight falling across a terrazzo floor." Every named material arrives in its place. List one material per clause and keep
high so none drop.
- •The fast, 1K draft tier. Prompt: "Studio fashion portrait of a woman turning to face the camera in a saffron silk sari with gold zari embroidery, a single softbox lighting the pleats, a seamless charcoal-grey backdrop, her hands resting at her waist." At
resolution: 1k with thinking_mode: fast, the face, hands, and gold border still come back clean. Draft single subjects here, then re-run the keeper at 2k.
Built for more of the same: try "a cutaway diagram of a sailing-ship hull, labelled in a neat serif hand" or "a flat vector transit map of an imaginary metro line."
