We picked the top 4 models known to us that can generate clear legible text and created this workflow to get magazine cover design inspiration. We use Qwen Image, OpenAI's GPT Image, Bytedance's SeeDream 3.0 and Ideogram 3.0 that are great at generating text in English. Some models are also tweaked to generate Chinese letters (Qwen and SeeDream) with good accuracy.
We as users to replace the placeholder text as a starting point by. Simply replace each bracketed section with your own magazine details. For example, swap [Magazine Name] with your title, [Main Subject] with the photo description, and adjust colors, fonts, and headlines to match your theme and style.
This workflow helps you get great designs for inspiration and help you compare outputs from all the top models so you get to choose the best one for you.
How does this workflow work
- •We first ask the user to share the event details in a simple text format. This includes Magazine name, Main subject and other details. We also details for design related aspects such as color and branding information.
- •We then pass this information to GPT-4o model to think and come up with a prompt that matches the user's request. We share a few prompt examples with GPT 4o to adhere to a certain format that works well with image generator models.
- •We then pass these prompts to the 4 models: GPT-Image, Qwen-Image, SeeDream and Ideogram 3.0 to generate posters.
This workflow is pretty powerful and help generate ideas and designs that can be a great start for a designer. Some of the designs produced are good to go directly to print or to a design agency that can then create a Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator version, or even canva.
