Ideogram Vector 1 Vectorizer: Image to SVG

What is Ideogram Vector 1 Vectorizer?

Ideogram Vector 1 Vectorizer is the image-to-SVG half of Ideogram's first vector model, the company's first model that writes a true vector file instead of pixels. Upload a single raster image (JPEG, PNG or WebP) and it traces the artwork into a clean, editable SVG made of individual shapes and paths, with no prompt required. Because the result is a real .svg (image/svg+xml), it scales from a tiny label to a full poster with crisp edges at every size, and every shape can be recolored or refined in a vector editor.

Key Features

  • True image-to-vector conversion: raster in, editable SVG out, no prompt needed.
  • Accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP sources up to 25MB.
  • A single detail control: default preserves fine detail; simple draws fewer, larger shapes for a lighter file.
  • Resolution-independent output, so shapes stay sharp at any scale and remain individually editable.
  • Converts flat artwork, logos, icons and illustrations faithfully, gradients included.

Best Use Cases

Reach for the vectorizer whenever an existing graphic needs to leave the screen. Convert a legacy logo or wordmark into a scalable mark for signage, merchandise, cut files or embroidery; turn a flat illustration, mascot or sticker into editable shapes; rebuild icons and badges as crisp, recolorable vectors; and prepare print-ready art that resizes without pixelation. Default mode suits detailed artwork with thin lines and small elements, while simple mode suits bold, poster-like designs where a lighter file matters.

Prompt Tips and Output Quality

There is no prompt here, so quality starts with the input. Clean, flat artwork converts best: logos, icons, illustrations and stickers with solid color regions and clear edges. Photographic, noisy or heavily textured images are harder to trace and lose fidelity, and any garbled text in the source is traced as-is, so start from the sharpest version you have. In testing, a flat sticker illustration became a 181KB SVG of roughly 293 editable paths with gradients preserved and edges crisp at any zoom. Choose default to keep detail, or simple for a lighter, bolder result.
